Community Elevation Conversation
UNO’s Center for Hazards, Assessment, Response, and Technology (CHART)

Through the “Community Elevation Conversation” project, the Center for Hazards, Assessment, Response and Technology has developed a neighborhood-based map and image index to show New Orleans residents what home elevations could look like in their own neighborhood. The photo index includes examples showcasing a range of home values, architectural styles, elevation heights, elevation methods, construction materials, and landscaping options. The project is intended to help homeowners undergoing or considering home elevation to better visualize their elevation project.
