Coastal Master Plans

The Coastal Master Plan describes the State’s approach to achieving a sustainable coast through the integration of coastal protection and restoration projects and programs based on the best science and engineering available. Louisiana law requires that the Master Plan be upgraded every five years so that the state can respond to changes on the ground as well as innovations in science, engineering, and policy.

Annual Plans

Each year the CPRA publishes an Annual Plan that inventories projects and programs intended to provide hurricane protection or coastal conservation or restoration. The plan also presents implementation schedules for these initiatives, and identifies funding schedules and budgets. The Annual Plan outlines implementation of the Master Plan.

Quarterly Progress Reports

Four times a year the CPRA issues a “Quarterly Progress Report” that details projects that are In Design; In Construction; In Planning; In Operation, Monitoring and Maintenance; and projects to be released for bid in the next six months. Those quarterly reports are archived here:
