The Atchafalaya Master Plan will include input from the people of the Atchafalaya region – community members, landowners, business owners, subject matter experts, academic leaders, and more. CPRA will facilitate hearings in multiple geographic locations at key milestones where the public will be invited to provide comments.
To keep the interested public informed on the most recent progress toward the draft Plan, CPRA is also developing periodic newsletters that are widely distributed. Sign up for our newsletter here or see additional resources to view previous newsletters.
CPRA participates in events in and around the Atchafalaya River System to connect with communities and share information about the Plan. These events provide opportunities to learn more about the planning process, ongoing efforts, and what to expect as the Plan continues to move forward.
